PhD Candidate

In March 2018, I started my PhD project under supervision of Eveline Crone, Marieke Bos, Arne Popma and Lucres Nauta-Jansen. The aim of my project is to examine mechanisms that underlie (distinct developmental trajectories of) antisocial behavior in emerging adulthood, with a specific focus on the neural correlates of self-concept, vicarious reward learning,  social evaluation and aggression regulation.

As part of my training, I  teached several courses (Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, School Psychology) and supervised bachelor and (research) master students (Psychology, Neuroscience, Medicine). 

I also serve as manager of the Lab website and social media of the SYNC lab

In the Arts/Science: Academy Honours Programme for Young Artists and Scientists,  several young scientists and artists are brought together by the KNAW, the Akademie van Kunsten and De Jonge Akademie to exchange knowledge, experiences and explore possible collaborations.

During my Research internship, I acquired R and Matlab skills and gained experience with experimental design, data collection and analyses.

During my Master's Programme, I served as Student Representative, and was a member of the Progam Advisory Committee of the Social and Health Psychology Master Programme. 

I also participated in the Young Innovators League,  a 15-ECTS honours course at graduate level, focused on learning to research, design and deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to real life societal challenges.
